Places You See on the Road
Just some images from the drive home from Las Vegas to the SF Bay Area. First off is a rest stop to take a couple of pics:
And in Baker,Ca they two things:
The World's Tallest Thermometer:
Also have the Alien Fresh Jerky store which is a little interesting:
If I ever won the big lottery, I would take a year or two off and just drive around and see all the interesting things in the United States:

If I win the lottery I'd do the same! Buy a nice RV and just hit the road!
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome post, thanks for sharing! I've been in this area a lot, but never seen the Alien Jerky nor the biggest thermomoeter!!! That's just super cool!!
Have a fantastic weekend :)
Oh how fun! I love the landscape of the west and the quirky culture. I so agree with you about driving around the US. My husband and I drive everywhere on our vacations, and we feel that you discover so much more about our country that way than if you just hopped on a plane.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, you got some great photos here. I would love to drive by these :) Thanks for sharing at Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop.
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is...how was the jerky!?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Jamie, how WAS that jerky?
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great road trip. I've been to Las Vegas a few times with my husband and we absolutely love the area. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Rt 66!!
