Old Town San Diego is an interesting place. On one-hand, it tells the story of San Diego with original and reconstructed buildings of what San Diego was in the old days, on the other-hand it is a little tourist trap designed to get people to spend money. Put the two together and you have a wonderful time:

Old Town San Diego was pretty cool and enjoyed visiting it. What made it really cool was enjoying a snack there:
REvisiting this city in a few days and I'm stoked. There's so much good Mexican food there.

wonderful old history. San Diego is a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Southern California I loved to go to Old Town in San Diego. There was a tea shop there that had an amazing hand blended mix that I loved. - Margy
ReplyDeleteWouldn't want to be thrown in that pokey!
ReplyDeleteYour second photo is glorious! I have fond memories of Old Town San Diego, long ago and far away now, but still treasured.

I love to experience new places with camera in hand and then relive those experiences through the photos. You have inspired me to get out there and do that more often!
ReplyDeleteI was just there for Cinco de Mayo! Such a fun time. I loved that the people were all dressed up too. I was trying to do a tasting like your last pic but there was a huge line and much too crowded. Great pics! Stopping by from the linkup :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun. I haven't been there for ages. This makes me want to go again!

I love these kinds of places. So fun and you got a lot of great shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Oh...now you've got me itching for a dose of my home state. I was California born and raised (2 hours north of San Diego), but 10 years ago moved to Texas. I still get back to CA once a year, but spend my time visiting family, so don't get to any of the old haunts that I miss so dearly. Thanks for the trip back in time for me!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from #MLSTL

ReplyDeleteQuite interesting. I have never been there during my visits to San Diego. That city still a relatively mysterious place to me even though it is the second largest in California.
