I was at the San Francsico Museum of Modern Art and they had an exhibit featuring the work of Andy Warhol. I have really not studied Andy Warhol much but I found this exhibit so very interesting:
I had really never looked at Andy Warhol's work in a serious manner but the way SFMOMA presented this exhibit it really made me look at his work in a different light.
I heard about this. I want to see this.

Fun! We went to the Andy Warhol museum when we were in Pittsburgh. It was fascinating!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fascinating experience. I haven't studied Warhol's works either, but now I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteThis would have been a great experience. His art was so of the time. #MLSTL

According to Andy, everyone will be famous for 5 minutes. I'll still waiting for my 5 but I do enjoy his bright art.
ReplyDeleteI like his works. I have studied him. The artist Basquiat worked on some of his pieces. Warhol didn't like to get his hands dirty. The movie "Basquiat" has Warhol as a character in it. He's played by David Bowie.
ReplyDeleteAndy Warhol has such a distinctive style, doesn't he, Patrick? Even those who aren't art enthusiasts would recognise his quirky work. Thanks for sharing at #MLSTL and enjoy the rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun great photos of them
ReplyDeleteHave an artistictastic week :-)
I'm a Warhol fan. I love the photos!
ReplyDeleteI also saw an Andy Warhol exhibit almost by chance years ago in Las Vegas. I truly enjoyed it. I hadn't thought about that experience in a while. Thanks for triggering that happy memory.
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit this museum! I love Andy Warhol's whimsical style!
ReplyDeleteLucky you, to have attended this exhibition at MOMA! So glad to see you featuring Andy Warhol's work. I'm a huge fan of his. Some of the most influential pieces of modern art came from him.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us this week, P. Have a blessed rest of the week.
I find Andy Warhol's photos interesting I am not sure I get him. His style is different.
ReplyDeleteHow fun. I would have enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
