Music Monday: Guess I am going to go random again for this edition:
First off, Billy Joel has a new song out for the first time in 30 years:
And here are a couple of popular songs for the month of February:
The most popular song for the month of February 1989:
And just random:
And just in case you missed it:
Hope everyone has a great week.
Billy Joel - I'm speechless. The video was obviously using deepfake technology but - WOW. (I've heard the song before, but never watched the video). Billy can turn the lights back on any time. The story of why he waited all these years is so sad. Of your other selections, the Alanis Morissette song was new to me and it was an instant love. Enya's song is one I can never remember the title or who did it - strange. And finally, I hadn't heard Obsession in such a long time. Thank you for this set; it was great listening.
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard "Orinoco Flow" in some time. Nice set!
ReplyDeletePaula Abdul is electric! Your entire set is great, though. Thanks for sharing with the 4M party, Patrick. Have a boogietastic week!
ReplyDeleteGreat selection and love the Morisette song and video. She did a great homage to dance...love the tri ute to Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire from a famous dance scene. Live Obsession both the song and the perfume. Chapman looks good and sounds great. She lost weight! I hope she is ok
