Just Some K-Wave Fashion

The Asian-Art Museum in San Francisco just started a new exhibit called Hallyu! The Korean Wave. It explores how South Korea has reinvented itself as a 21st century pop culture world leader.  From movies like "Parasite, to TV series like The Squid Games to K-Pop, South Korea is has become a center of pop culture.

Here is some of the K-Wave fashion I saw starting with K-Pop:

And then some more traditional fashion:

And then you have this fashion piece that most of know

The suit that PSY wore in the Gangnam Style

It was really interesting seeing exhibit and learned a lot.

  9. South Korea is awesome. As somebody living in Tulsa, Oklahoma I admired them for throwing the Trump campaign event in Tulsa back in the last election by buying up hundreds of thousands of the free tickets to the event. Trump was astonished and angry when hardly anybody showed up.

  10. Neat! I have great admiration for South Korea and glad to see their alphabet featured in design. They're rightly (writely? :-) proud of their excellent and very logical writing system. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
