The Asian-Art Museum in San Francisco just started a new exhibit called Hallyu! The Korean Wave. It explores how South Korea has reinvented itself as a 21st century pop culture world leader. From movies like "Parasite, to TV series like The Squid Games to K-Pop, South Korea is has become a center of pop culture.

It was really interesting seeing exhibit and learned a lot.
That does sound and look like a neat exhibit.

Interesting show! South Korea is hot right now. ☺ I enjoyed the various fashions and Parasite was an excellent film.

ReplyDeleteSouth Korea is awesome. As somebody living in Tulsa, Oklahoma I admired them for throwing the Trump campaign event in Tulsa back in the last election by buying up hundreds of thousands of the free tickets to the event. Trump was astonished and angry when hardly anybody showed up.
