ReplyDeletePatrick, Oh yeah, sneakers have taken over the footwear world! Do you remember in the 70s and 80s how it wasn't nearly as common? Sure, everyone wore them but not for everyday wear. I think I wore casual shoes most of the time while I was in school up until my 12th grade and that's when the switch happened for me. I began wearing tennis shoes all the time. Nowadays it's a rarity to find someone dressed casually who isn't wearing sneakers. Cool museum! Thanks for stopping by today, my friend. Have a good weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun exhibit! Thanks for "taking" us along with you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun walk down memory lane (only the last handful!). I've always been curious about why they're called "sneakers." Thanks for sharing at the #ThisIsHowWeRoll Link Party.
ReplyDeleteCompletely a fun display this! Brings back the yearning of owning a pair at least. Nike - has always been my favorite -Sneakers
