Keep Portland Weird Part I
Just some random pics of my strolling around Portland, Part I:
The Central Library
And I will leave you with the MODA Center, which is home to the NBA Portland Trail Blazers:
Nice tour, I am kind of intrigued. On a number of fronts Portland is said to be similar to my home of Tulsa, OK. I don't know enough about Portland to weigh in on the matter but I love your photos.
Lots of interesting statues Patrick - obviously it's a city that likes its community art! Thanks for the little tour. Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I've shared on my SM 😊
Luvin' your pics! I almost feel like I just came back from a stroll myself, but off to bed for me. I have to get up early tomorrow! Seeing a new doctor in the morning. Have a great day! hugs
What an interesting city with all the wonderful statues! I really enjoy stuff like this. The guy with the umbrella might be my favorite - so cool! What is the building two pix down from the moose? It almost looks like it has rows of vertical cages in front of each window but I'm not sure if I'm seeing this right. It's really interesting, though.
Don't know why, but this isn't what I expected Portland to look like! We'll be passing through this summer. I look forward to seeing it for myself. #farawayfiles
What's really weird about Portland is NO taxes, at least when last I visited. Otherwise, it shares the same weather as in my neck of the woods which is probably why I gravitated to the statue with an umbrella. :))
I love seeing the world through your eyes on your blog, Patrick. Particularly this one as I've always wanted to go to Portland. Thanks for sharing this with us on #farawayfiles
Oh man, you were SO CLOSE to where I am! I love Portland - it's so quirky and fun. :) Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for taking us along for the ride!
