Welcome to the Emporium Arcade Bar

 

I had a professional development (PD) in the oddest of places- The Emporium Arcade Bar in San Francisco. It was about using different technology apps in the classroom. 

I had never been to the place but as you walk in the murals on the walls were super cool:

But what was super cool were the games they had:

And the coolest were the two old school games that I used to play all the time:

The Emporium Arcade Bar was super cool and I know that I will be going back as I still have some tokens left over.

Union Square is Bloomin

 

San Francisco's Union Square is trying to draw more people. It was once a cool shopping district, but since the after the pandemic- stores have closed and it has become a little interesting to say the least. One thing they are trying to do is brighten the area up with flowers. The city is calling it Union Square in Bloom:

And a lot of the businesses are getting involved:

It is cool to see all the colors and this was really cool, seeing a cable car in bloom:
