Happy Lunar New Year

It is the Year of Snake as San Francisco's Chinatown prepares for Lunar New Parade this weekend, I took a trip up to Chinatown:

On this trip, I mainly focused on the cool murals that are located in Chinatown. I feel these murals are super cool:

And I wish for Good Things for all in the Lunar year 4699:

Looking From a Rooftop

San Francisco has many spaces that are considered Privately Owned Public Open Spaces (POPOS). The Luma Hotel in the Mission Bay District has one on their rooftop and I got to visit it:

Part of the Bay Bridge

I always love seeing these open spaces.

The Flamingo Hotel Wildlife Habitat

When I was in Las Vegas, I visited the The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. The habitat is located on the Strip behind the Flamingo Hotel:

And yes, they do have Flamingo's there:

Even though the Strip in Vegas can be crazy, the Flamingo Hotel Wildlife Habitat is a peaceful respite from the craziness of the Strip.

The Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial

Last Monday (Jan 27) was Holocaust Remembrance Day and I forgot to post this. It was my trip to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial in Boise:

It was a moving memorial and we must remember that everyone has dignity and that we must treat all beings with respect.
