The Fun is Back at Carnaval 2023

Carnaval is really back. Carnaval is San Francisco's celebration of the Latinx culture and Latinx people. It is held in the Mission District. After being grounded by COVID for a couple of years and a smaller festival last year, the party was on this year.

There were vendors selling their cool handmade items and displays:

And tons of music:

And there was a lot of food:

And a local children's author- Robert Trujillo was there:

Carnaval is all about having fun and people sure did:

A Birds Eye View

I went up to observation deck at the deYoung Museum, which located in Golden Gate Park, to take a look around:

It was cool being up there and looking at the city from the birds eye view.

Music Monday: For Those Who Served

For this Music Monday, this for those heroes who lost their life in defending our country. I am proud that I served this country and I say a prayer every day for those who died in their service to this country:

While you are having fun this weekend, please say a prayer for all those souls who have given their life for this country.

A Visit to Castle Air Museum

It is Memorial Day Weekend and a little bit ago I took a visit to Castle Air Museum and was able to peek in the past with their vintage airplanes most from World War II. I am always awestruck by the sacrifice that the Greatest Generation made during those years.

In your busy weekend, please say a prayer for all those servicemen and servicewomen who have given their lives in the service of defending the U.S. Constitution:

And Castle Air Museum does have Air Force One that was used by President's Ronald  Reagan and Bill Clinton and Vice-Presidents Bush, Quayle, Gore and Cheney. Also it was used by First Ladies-Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush:

Enjoy the long-weekend but please say a prayer for all those who gave up their lives for our freedom.

It is All About the Jeans

Levi's is 150 years old and Levi's is hosting the Levi's 501 experience in San Francisco:

An 1890's pair of Levi's

There was a lot of cool Levi's on display:

And they had celebrities and their Levi's:

Steve Jobs

Bing Crosby

And the 1973 Levi's AMC Gremlin made an appearance:

The Levi's Experience was really cool and I really enjoyed it.
