49ers Hall of Fame

Back in August when I visited the San Francisco 49ers new Levi's Stadium, I also visited their Hall of Fame inside of the new stadium. The members of the 49ers Hall of Fame are some the greatest players in the game and with the Niners season coming to a close I finally decided to share. Here the statues of the members of 49ers Hall of Fame:

Fred Dean
Dwight Clark (making what is know as "The Catch"
R.C. Owens
The Million Dollar Backfield (Hugh McElhenny, Joe Perry, Y.A. Title and John Henry Johnson)
Jimmy Johnson
Bob St.Clair
Roger Craig
Jerry Rice
Dave Wilcox
John Brodie
Steve Young
Ronnie Lott
Leo Nomellini (L) and Charlie Kruger
Gordy Soltau
Joe Montana (L) and Bill Walsh
It was great seeing the 49er legends almost come alive in the 49ers Hall of Fame.

Happy Hoildays

Here are some holiday sights I saw walking around the Union Square area in San Francisco:

The tree at Union Square
The huge tree at Neiman Marcus
A window display at Macy's
This is City Hall in San Francisco:

And my favorite, a neighbors yard:

To anybody that has ever stumbled across this or reads it on a regular basis, THANK YOU VERY MUCH and may you have a very good and blessed Happy Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

Music Monday: My Favs in Xmas Music

Can't believe that I have been doing this Xmas for the last four weeks but here are my all-time favorite Xmas songs (minus two-since I have already used them in previous blogs):

The last one is not really considered a Xmas song but it is from my second favorite Xmas movie and I wish everybody would do what song asks (I decided to use the closing scene of the movie because I love it):

Hope everybody has a Happy and safe Xmas.

Bah Humbug #1

People around me, say that I am the original Grinch. I am not a huge fan of the so-called Christmas season as promoted by the retailers and such. But I should share some Xmas cheer here in some images I took;

Hershey's Chocolate World

Inside "New York, New York" casino and hotel, there lies a place that is very tempting and it is called Hershey's Chocolate World. It is all things Hershey's:

And they do sell candy:

To me, the coolest thing there was this Statue Of Liberty made out of chocolate:

Welcome to the Hoover Dam

When I was in Vegas, I took a trip to one of coolest places I have ever been-The Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam harnesses the Colorado River and provides power to basically the major cities in the Southwestern United States and Southern California. No Hoover Dam and places like Las Vegas do not exist. It was just so breath-taking that I better shut-up and let the pics tell the story:

The Hoover Dam is one of our national treasures and I am so happy that I got to see it. I guess I will have to do a part deux with all the little details, artwork and such.

Music Monday: Some Different Christmas Tunes

Going to continue with some more Xmas music and I decided to have some fun with some different Xmas songs:

And finally:

Hope you enjoyed some different Xmas tunes. Next week, I will share my all-time favorite songs. Just to say that I have blogged two of them (War is Over by John Lennon and My all time favorite, Do They Know It Is Christmas) but I have a couple of more.
