USS Midway (CV-41)

A while ago I was in San Diego and walked by the USS Midway (CV41).  The Midway was built in the last days of WWII and was commissioned eight days after the Japanese surrendered in 1945. It served in for 47 years and was decommissioned in 1992. It is museum now, sadly I was doing other things in San Diego and got to the Midway after the museum closed. I did get these pics from the outside of the ship:

I need to go back down to San Diego and get onboard.

Walking Along Fishermans Wharf

I took a walk around Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco. hadn't done it for a while and I had my camera:

U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame

I got to visit the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis. I am not much of a cyclist but it was really cool to visit it and I did recognize some of the names in the Hall of Fame:

The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame is pretty cool. I loved learning about all of the cyclists and the history of cycling in this country.
