Motorsports Hall of Fame of America

Since this Sunday is a huge motorsports day with the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. Here is my visit to the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America:

A.J. Foyt's firesuit

Mario Andretti and Bobby Unser firesuits

1955 Indy 500 Champion Bob Sweikert who is from my city, Hayward, Ca

Richard Petty's car

Jeff Gordon's sprint car

And the Daytona 500 Wall of Winners:

And the outside:

And the statues outside:

Bill France Jr.

Bill France Sr. and Betty Jane France- the organizers of NASCAR

Dale Earnhardt Sr.

The Motorsports Hall of Fame is cool. It does tell the story of motorsports in America.

Cars and Women's Fashion of Yesteryear

I forgot I had these: I was at the National Automobile Museum in Reno last summer and along with the cars they had an exhibit of women's fashion mixed in with the cars:

It was interesting to sit there and imagine women wearing those fashions and getting into the cars.

My Favorite Dive Stadium

I got to head to my favorite dive stadium to see the Green and Gold play:

There was a full moon at the Coliseum

And as always I had to take some pics from stadium:

In honor of the late great A's Player and Broadcaster Ray Fosse who passed away last year

And I got to see some history as Shohei Ohtani hit his 100th home run:

Ohtani hitting his 100th HR

But the best part of the whole deal was being able to go to game with my son:

The Coliseum may be a a dive stadium but I am happy to have a major league baseball near me and I love my Oakland A's.

A Nice Way to Start

A couple of weeks ago, I had to go to a work training. It was four blocks from Ocean Beach and I got to spend a little time there before just looking at the waves:

It was so nice and relaxing. A great time to spend before doing some work training.
