An Evening at Music City in San Francisco

 

I went for an evening at Music City in San Francisco. It was an interesting time. First you need to look at some of the stuff on the walls:

It was a great night of music and I had a lot of fun listening to the different bands and types of music.

Welcome to The Grotto

 

The Grotto is a peaceful place in Portland. It is a working church and a place where you can walk around and have peace with nature and cleanse your spirit.

The Grotto was founded by Fr. Mayer in 1923, it held its first mass in 1924. In 1983, it designated a National Sanctuary. Over the last 100 years, millions of people have come to visit and serves all people in all faiths or no faith- Everyone is welcome to visit and find peace:

Blow Glass. by Marvin Lipofsky

 

I went to the Crocker Museum in Sacramento and saw an exhibit that featured Marvin Lipofsky. Lipofsky was a pioneer in using in glass as personal artistic expression tool. Most of his work is glass "bubbles"

I had never heard of Marvin Lipofsky but I did find his work interesting and I found myself liking his work.
