Being a book lover, I went to the 50th California International Antiquarian Book Fair in Oakland. I must say that it was amazing, really amazing. Seeing all these high-class, high-priced book dealers and what they brought was super cool. I hope I did justice in my pics in laying out the scope of things (Note all of the books are First Editions unless noted):
By King Christian V-1756 |
The Duty of Servants-England 1685 |
The first printed version of Galileo's work |
Printed about 15 years after his death |
The first bound work of Geoffrey Chaucer's work. 135 years after his death. |
And there were some interesting items besides books:
Original Flyer |
An original Wile E. Coyote cartoon cell |
A signed Helen Keller letter |
Personal items belonging to Oskar Schindler from Schindler's list |
