Pahrump Valley Winery

When in Nevada, I visited the Pahrump Valley Winery which is located in Pahrump about sixty miles east of Las Vegas. Pahrump Valley Winery is known for producing the first commerical red wine in Nevada's history:

And I had a little lunch there:

  1. Oh cactus! My mom use to live in Las Vegas & my oldest daughter went out there to visit her all the time and one time she brought me back this cactus and he grew so very tall for me & one time she brought me back one that grew a yellow flower at the very top, but would die at the end of the day. That one day & one flower lived all day & was beautiful. I wish I knew the name of it so I could go buy another. They're gorgeous and they warmed my heart to say the least! Have a wonderful day my friend and thank you for sharing your wonderful pictures! HUGS

  6. I love those cactus in a row! We have visited wineries in other countries as well as the US. But it has been a while. Maybe on my next anniversary weekend.
