Music Monday: Playing For Change

Music Monday: One of my favorite organiztions is Playing For Change. They are a movement that is trying to insipre and connect the world through music. Even though we all are different, we are all connected by music:

Sorry about missing last week, I was traveling on Amtrak from Portland and learned that long-distance Amtrak has no wifi onboard. Hope everyone has a good Monday.

  1. These are great songs, and I love the sentiment. Music really does touch human beings hearts regardless of our heritage or background.

  2. Patrick,

Mewsic is the language of love that we all understand crossing all boundaries erasing invisible lines that separate us. We're all alike inside. Makes no difference our religion, race, or sex. From the earth we were made in His image and someday to the earth we'll return. Doesn't that make ya wonder why there's a division? IMO, I don't think God is very happy with people for being so closed minded with too much hatred inside where love should reside. Thanks for sharing and may tomorrow bring positive change for all people! Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

Thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor. This week's theme is 'love songs' but anyone with mewsic is welcome! You Light Up My Life, DH!

  3. Your playlist is wonderful. It doesn't fit this week's theme -- love songs-- and yet it does. Your songs are about loving this world and the people in it, and that's what we really need right now.

  5. I applaud you my friend. I thought you said you made a mistake. These are the best love songs ever! It doesn't have to be 2 people in love. It could be something you love or the love of something. I know you catch my drift. These are fantastic. Imagine is the greatest one, and what a wonderful world we live in. Loving the world is fab and don't forget the love of music! Great job my friend. Thank you!

  8. This post is all about love - the love we should have for each other and the world we were given as stewards. The mark of great music is that it sounds great no matter who does it, and these songs sounded so wonderful, especially "Stand by Me" and "Everyday People". Yes, we have to live together. Either that, or destroy our world. It's our choice! Thank you for your choice this week!
