Christmas at the Fairmont

I went up to the Fairmont Hotel to see what they had going on for the Christmas season. First the outside:

Got to have Tony Bennett and his reindeer

And the Fairmont lobby is very festive:

And they have the giant Christmas Tree:

But the big attraction at the Fairmont is the 22-foot Gingerbread House. Just some facts- It took over 520  hours to build, 8,000 baked gingerbread bricks, 50 gallons of egg whites, 1,000 pounds of powdered sugar and 2,000 pounds of candy:

Going to the Fairmont always means that the Christmas season is here.

  9. Great shots of the ***Christmas*** decorations. The politically correct "Holidays" doesn't click with me. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.

  12. Hi, Patrick. That gingerbread house is amazing. I wonder if they let kiddos and parents have a taste of it? What do they do with all of the bread/cookies once holiday is done?
