I hadn't been to Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle for ten years or so when I visited it during spring break. The work celebrates the work glass art of Dale Chihuly. It is still as beautiful and with such great works of art as I remember:
And the garden outside is amazing also:
A visit to Chihuly Garden and Glass is a must when visiting Seattle. It is very beautiful and peaceful.
I have to get there!!
ReplyDelete...fabulous! Once I saw Chihuly's work in Maui.
ReplyDeleteI love Chihuly! We had a small exhibition here in the Botanic Gardens many years ago....so lovely. I love that first one! Very striking! THanks for sharing with me! (& #Allseasons)
ReplyDeleteWordless WONDERS
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I enjoyed a Chihuly exhibition in Jerusalem a number of years ago. His work is incredible. Visiting from My Corner of the World.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree these are brilliant :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a chihulytastic week 👍
Beautiful. You do the coolest things, Patrick. I would love to see this in person.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
Beautiful glass works! I've seen a few Chihuly exhibits here and in New York over the years - his work has a very biological look and pairs well with plants or aquatic life.
ReplyDeleteAstonishingly beautiful works of art. Thanks so much for sharing it with us at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/06/the-lords-new-church.html
ReplyDeleteDelightful, the first glass piece is stunning!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since we were there, too. The creativity is amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see these pieces again. I remember the boat. Love it. The Persian ceiling was one of my favorite and the big creation in the glass house.
So much talent, here. :)
Oh I really need to get there! We went to a smaller Chihuly museum in Florida and I just love seeing his work.
ReplyDeleteI want to make it there someday, beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI have seen a few of his pieces in Denver, but I've wanted to see this in Seattle for a while! It looks amazing, and I enjoyed "following" you on your visit via your photos. His art is just stunning. Thanks for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #41 linkup. We hope to see you again next time at #42, too. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful and very fragile! I'd hate to be the one who has to dust them :-) Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful glass art and garden. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Hope to make it to Biltmore before the exhibit ends
ReplyDeleteThere is a Chihuly Collection in downtown St Pete. Love his glass works. I've seen his installations in several botanical gardens and an exhibit in Boston. Will have to visit the one in Seattle some day.
