I went up to area known as AppleHill outside of Placerville, Ca. I haven't gone for a couple of years and it was packed with people. Didn't get to too many farms as there were a lot of people and traffic was super crazy, but I did get to a few:
And there were a couple of other things up there:
Didn't get to some of my favorite places for food items, but I did get a little something:
Apple Donuts |
AppleHill is still pretty cool, but I need to go during the week or something as on weekends it is getting to busy:
Those apple donuts look yummy!
ReplyDelete...I live near the "core" of apple country here. Orchards are on all of the backroads!
ReplyDeleteSpring bounty...(or is that autumn bounty? Still on my first coffee for the morning and brain half asleep! Ha!) #Allseasons
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this was out there. Apple season used to be a big thing back in New York, and we even still had some farms and orchards in Westchester.
ReplyDeleteI want an apple donut heheh! :-)
ReplyDeleteHave an appletastic week and thanks for linking up Patrick 👍
There must be lots of lovely apple treats, fresh and baked.

ReplyDeleteI love visiting farms and orchards like this one. The produce is always fresh and yummy and there is also the pleasure of picking it yourself. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I want a apple donut! Have a good week.
