The Oakland Ballers (The Independent League team in Oakland) had their Fan Fest on Saturday. It was more than about baseball, it was about community and coming together:
Ice Berg Plants from the Oakland Coliseum |
And there was food and music:
And former A's players signing
Daulton Jefferies and Steven Piscotty |
Jemile Weeks and Miguel Tejada |
But more importantly it was about community and there were at lot of local, small businesses that represented:
Mitch's Hot Works (Great Hot Sauce) |
Feral Unicorn Snack Emporium |
Artist Guy Sliwinski |
Sayra Reyes Art |
The Oakland Ballers Fan Fest was a great time, even if you don't like baseball. It was basically a giant block party in Oakland and you can see the community come together and enjoy the day and each other.
