Five Years and Food

Today, this strange little thing I call a blog turns five. I can't believe I have doing this for a half decade and I haven't got bored yet. Anyway, I want to thank anybody who has never spent one second looking at the strange stuff I post, you are the reason I haven't got bored of it. . I don't have any rhyme or reason to what I post but thanks for taking a good.

I guess to kick off the second five years, here is a look at a couple of places that I have the pleasure of eating at lately. The first is Jack's Sports Pub and Grill in Fremont,Ca:

The second is a place called the Velvet Grill and Creamery in Modesto, I was with some people, it was late at night and open. I didn't get many pics but I did get pics of the food there:

White Elephant Sale 2017

Had to hit one of my favorite things, the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale. It is a staple of my life once a year. Who knows what you might find:

I didn't buy anything because I am trying to pare down but it was a great time just walking around.

International Art Museum of America

Down on Market Street in San Francisco near downtown, there is a museum called the International Art Museum of America and I ventured in there to take a look. It is pretty nice, they had signs up all over the place that said no photography but I had to a few with my phone-Heehee:

It is a small museum but the works were nice. Now, I hope I don't get into any trouble now....

On the Roof of the Old Crocker Building

So, the other day I finally figured out how to get on the roof of the old Crocker Bank Building on Montgomery St (Next to the Montgomery St. BART station) in San Francisco. The old Crocker Bank Building houses a Wells Fargo Bank now but the views are nice and the roof is a public space:

It was really cool seeing the part of San Francisco from a different view.
