White Elephant Sale 2017


Had to hit one of my favorite things, the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale. It is a staple of my life once a year. Who knows what you might find:




















I didn't buy anything because I am trying to pare down but it was a great time just walking around.

    Looks like a lot of interesting items. Are these items from the museum and they're trying to reduce or is it a fundraiser with donated things? I like toe old sewing machines.

      It is all donated stuff and the funds go to the Oakland Museum.

    Patrick, You saw some really neat stuff. I love the old sewing machines! DH's late mother had her mother's sewing machine. It's still in his boyhood home. It would be neat to have it if I could find a place to put it in our house. :) What fun! Thanks for sharing. :)

    Oh man! I would LOVE to go to something like that White Elephant Sale! I'd be in seventh heaven! Some really cool (and unique) finds for sure! I'm impressed you showed restraint since you're trying to pare down! ;)

    It looks like a great day out! You should visit my hometown, where an enormous International Antiques sale is held annually. Some years ago Cher was spotted buying there.
