Hanging at Mt. Diablo

About two weeks ago, when it weather was clear I headed up to the Mt. Diablo Summit. I didn't hike up there but I drove and took some pics of the view:

What was super cool was that I got see the Mt. Diablo Beacon. The Beacon was originally lit by Charles Lindbergh in 1928 to help with aviation in the early days. It was lit every night until December 8, 1941 (The day after Pearl Harbor).  It wasn't re-lit until December 7, 1964 and is relit every December 7th:

And if you are at Mt. Diablo, you need to head to Rock City to climb and have some fun:

Mt. Diablo is one of the best places to go to in the Bay Area.

Just Walking Around Las Vegas

Just some walking around I did in Las Vegas back in November. One of the big problems I had was getting any great shots because F1 was there two days before and had pretty much all the bleachers and everything still up on the Strip:

As I said F1 had been there, two days before I came to town:

And you have to wait for the show to begin:

And you always need some love:

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

BLMF Literary Saloon

One of the coolest places in Seattle Pike Place Market is a bookstore call BLMF Literary Saloon. BLMF has been in the Pike Place Market for 26 years and owned J.B. Johnson who started the store because a guest in his house said that he had books like a MF:

BLMF Literary Saloon is an amazing place and it is must when I hit Seattle.
