A Walk Around Lake Elizabeth

Lake Elizabeth is a man-made lake in Fremont's (Ca) Central Park. It is about 2.5 mile walk around it. It is dedicated to Fremont's sister city, Elizabeth, South Australia. The lake is a favorite for walkers, joggers, bicyclists and water fowl:

I always enjoy walking Lake Elizabeth. It is a really calming place to walk.

  18. What a beautiful place to walk. I live in Queensland Aus, this was interesting. Look at those white pelicans. The only ones we have here are black and white.

  19. Those photos of Lake Elizabeth are lovely. I just realized I used to live there in Fremont, Ca with my relatives during the 90s. I remember the great scenery during the evening walks, though I've never been to this place before. Feeling nostalgic here :) great of you to share! Happy WW!
