Pacific Worlds at the Oakland Museum


I went to an exhibition at the Oakland Museum called Pacific Worlds which celebrated the vibrant historic and cultural relationships, past and present, between the Pacific Islands and California. It was really cool and I really enjoyed it. (Note:Most of the artifacts are undated but were collected in the early 1900's):

I am so glad that I got to see this exhibition before it goes away.

    Those are items close to my homeland...Pacific is such a great region and now I miss my homeland :). Happy holiday..

    Oakland California? I was there once when I was 14. My brother was stationed there at the Naval base. California is definitely a different breed I must say. You go to all the neat places. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Happy New Year my friend and I hope you had a great Christmas! HUGS
