The Cathedral of Christ the Light


I had never been inside the Cathedral of Christ the Light across the street from Lake Merritt in Oakland. I decided to head over there one day and it is a beautiful and very modern. It was dedicated in 2008 and is the seat of the Bishop of Oakland:












The Cathedral of Christ the Light is a beautiful place with many beautifully done details.

  17. It looks beautiful on the inside! Unfortunately, the outside looks more like a space ship rather than a church. Kind of like the Cathedral in L.A.! LOL
