California ScienCenter

I was down in Los Angeles and I got to see a bunch of things. One of the coolest was the California ScienCenter and the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. It was something that blew me away:

The jets were cool but it was their artifacts from the space program that I loved:

Project Mercury training suit
Orion Sounding Rocket
Gemini 11 space capsule
Ken Mattingly's Apollo 16 Spacesuit
Project Mercury-Redstone 2 capsule
Project Apollo-Soyuz Module
But the big attraction was the Space Shuttle Endeavour:

For two bucks, the California ScienCenter is the best deal ever.

  19. Holy Cow, now that is totally awesome! Your pictures are exceptional. You did an awesome job. What a great place to take my grandsons. They would go wild over this stuff. I remember seeing stuff at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and there just wasn't enough time in the day to see everything. This is just too too cool!!!
