The Bay and Planes


I was over by SFO one day and it was overcast and I decided to take some pics of the bay and planes doing what planes do in the distance at SFO:












It was just a peaceful 20 or 30 minutes just watching and observing. The funny thing is that when I left the little area was at and went to the SFO BART station, I got this:


Something about looking at planes land and stuff is calming to me.

    I am always in awe when I see jets like this at a low altitude. It's kinda scary and awesome to see it so close up in the sky!

    I was just in LAX yesterday for far too long! ha! So this is very familiar to me but not as comforting as it seems it was to you, Patrick. I did find beauty and wonder in the fog off of, I suppose, the mountains near Malibu. We traveled all along that coastline on Friday and Saturday. My youngest son lives in LA but may move very soon to Denver. So this trip was one that I'm glad we were able to make to see him in his LA habitat. Thanks for your lovely pics, my friend! Always grateful to come along with you on your journeys, even if it is vicariously! ;)

    Hello my friend, I know exactly what you mean. Watching things that just normally happen & poof you see it all the time & poof suddenly it's so dam interesting! hahaha happens to me all the time. We just came home from the hospital hubby's friend is in the ICU due to a motorcycle accident. They had to put in a trichotomy on him poor guy... & you know the more horrible thing about this... all his friends who ride... I mean 2 of his friends went riding today & they said they were going to do that on FB & I said "Oh yeah... and where are your helmets?" AUGHHHHH PEOPLE WILL NEVER LEARN it makes me so mad. OUr friend Willy's brain was practically twice its size cuz he didn't have a helmet on. I HATE BIKES. grrrrrrrrr People could be so stupid!!! Anyway... I live near a private airport & we see planes all day long goin over... it's fun to watch them sometimes. Plus the blimp in the summer that's where it lands . funnnnnnnn Thanks for sharing & stopping by... hugs
