Music Monday: 80's Love Songs
Music Monday: Since Valentine's day is this week, here are some love songs from the 80's. They maybe sappy but they are good:
I grew up in the 80s, so these brought back so many great memories! I especially love REO Speedwagon and Journey! And surprisingly, "Be Near Me" might be my favorite of the bunch. It was a type of music that I didn't really hear that much back then, but I always liked that particular song.
And that is probably the best cover I've ever heard of "Baby I Love Your Way."
As a big fan of the 80's, this was so enjoyable, especially the ABC song. But - I had never heard of Will to Power, although I knew the song she was covering. Anyway, thank you for transporting me back in time this morning.
The 80s produced some classic hits that the kids today call oldies. lol Now, I don't remember the band Boy Meets Girl nor does their song ring a bell with me but I'm curious to listen to more of their stuff. REO Speedwagon and Journey are two favorites here this morning. These song choices brought back the best feelings putting a smile on my face. :D I hope you have a beautiful V-Day.
