Views From the Ferry

Had to take the ferry from San Francisco to Sausalito on a round trip. Living here you sometimes  forget how beautiful views of things are from the Bay:

The Bay Bridge- Connecting Oakland to San Francsico

Alcatraz

A bridge called Golden Gate
Sometimes we take for granted where we live but after my round trip ferry, I don't I ever will again.

  6. I agree with you that sometimes living here we get too caught up with our lives that we rarely acknowledge the beauty around us.

  13. We don't usually appreciate our own back yard when we've lived there for a long time, so thanks for sharing these lovely views that you can see every day on the ferry. I love the shorelines and the beautiful sail boats.

It's great to see you at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

  16. We've been on our boat on that bay many times. The views are far different from the water aren't they. A beautiful bay.

  17. Oh you are in my neck of the woods (I'm in Sacramento, not far)! Lovely shots of SF Bay, Patrick! I need to get to the bay more often, but I know it can be cool and foggy this time of year! Reading from #MLSTL

  19. Absolutely gorgeous! I went to San Fran as a child and remember bits and pieces (like my Dad falling into the lap of a very shocked lady on the tram...) but I'd love to go back and appreciate its glory as an adult.

  20. Your lovely photos bring back wonderful memories. I loved taking the ferry, any ferry, up there when I lived in San Francisco, and then later the East Bay, once upon a time.

  22. I think many of us take the everyday of our lives for granted. I never appreciated the beauties of New York City until after I left and visited purely as a tourist.
