Statues of Golden Gate Park

Goethe and Schiller

I was at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and took pictures of the statues inside the park. I don't know the backstories of these statues:

Statue of Robert Burns
California International Expo 1896

Thomas Starr King

Cervantes
Junipero Serra

Gen. John Pershing
President U.S. Grant

Again, I don't know the backstories of these statues but they were an great addition to the park when they put them in years ago.

  3. Very cool, Patrick! Didn’t they have plaques giving information about them? I hate when that happens! When you ind something interesting and then there is no info about it. Thanks for sharing and linking up.
