Who remembers 80's benefit songs. It was a staple of the mid-80's:
Band Aid:
USA for Africa:
The Canadian version of USA for Africa-Northern Lights:
Artists United Against Apartheid:
Ferry Aid- For the UK Ferry Capsize Victims:
Hands Across America

The 80's were a great time for people to come together and help make the world better

ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week filled with wonderful music, Patrick. ☺
I didn't even know all of these! But one brought back such memories - Hands Across America. I had totally forgotten about it. Hard to believe it was almost 36 years ago now, and I can't even see where something like that would even happen today. Those were way different times.
