San Francisco's Ferry Building turned 125 yesterday. This building survived both 1906 and 1989 earthquakes and unlike a lot of San Francisco spots, it is a tourist attraction but a place that people in the city and the Bay Area use on a regular basis as it is the San Francisco hub for ferries across the bay:
Also, it is a marketplace with some cool shops:
And it has its own bookstore-Book Passage:
And the outside is pretty cool even if they are doing a little work to it:

And I missed the main party as it was at lunchtime I still was able to hear some music there and lift a pint in its honor:
