A Peek Inisde the King Library at San Jose St

I was at San Jose St and went into the the King Library on campus besides having a great used inside, the King Library had other interesting things:

Inside the King Library

And even though the Steinbeck center was closed (awww), I got to see some nice art in the library.

These first three pieces are by an African-American sculptor Edmonia Lewis (1844-1907) who mostly worked in Rome:

"Lincoln"

"Awake"
"Asleep"

And some other art work:

"Ode to Joy"- Valerie Jacobs
This was a Winterhilfswerk project that were sold to German people during the years 1933-1945 to help people not starve

Dr. Martin Luther King
The King Library at San Jose is a great library to study or just to walk around in.
