I went to a Cajun/Zydeco Music Festival at Ardenwood Farm in Fremont. The farm is part of East Bay Regional Park system and was founded in 1849 by George and Clara Patterson and the farm has been operated by the East Bay Regional Park system since 1985:

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely festival. Seems like you are having so much fun here..
ReplyDeleteIt looks like lots of fun. I've never seen a full concert of zydeco music, but I like it. I like Cajun food too, (although the doctor wants me to avoid spices now for my gastritis.)
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely love this! As a young girl we traveled to TX and LA to visit relatives frequently. My mother and aunt would get all dolled up to go to the Zydeco and I always wondered what went on there. They never told me but they were always happy about going. Thank you for sharing with us at Celebrate Your Story. This brought back lots of memories.
ReplyDeletethat would have been so fun to go to. we went to ardenwood a while ago to ride the train, but it wasn't operating. my son was so bummed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great festival. Interesting name though. I love an accordion. My Grandad used to play. I love the sound.
