Outside the Oakland Federal Building |
Just have been walking around and snapping some shots of some street murals and a couple of musicians at the BART station:
And the music is has a more classy sound at our BART stations:
But you have the standard street music outside of AT&T Park:
I just enjoy walking and seeing what is out there in the world.
Lots to see and do there!

ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo I was in Oakland before, but I had just turned 14 yrs. old at the time. I had just graduated grammar school & my big brother was being shipped off to Viet Nam on the U.S.S. Aludra . He was on a supply ship & we got to go on the ship and everything. It was totally awesome and I'll never forget it. We went to CA on a train as soon as I graduated to meet him there before they were shipped out. He was also on the USS Mars. Anyway that was back in 1964. When I was working in Chicago downtown we had musicians everywhere playing for change or whatever. I use to love and stop and listen especially at the train station. Thanks for sharing my friend & thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures Patrick. The color is vibrant and it makes me feel as if I am walking the streets of Oakland.
