I was at the Long Beach Pier and we decided to get something to eat. There were the usual chain places around but we decided on a place called Louisiana Charlie's BBQ. It smelled good, so we went in:

It was really good and I am glad that we passed up all the chains to go there.
I am typically a naysayer when I see restaurants that boast Louisiana outside of Louisiana. But this one looks legit. LOL The fried catfish, mac n cheese, and potato salad looks like my grandmother's and my mother's. Thanks for sharing on #TrafficJamWeekend, Patrick!
