The Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt
I went to the Bonsai Garden at Oakland's Lake Merritt and saw a lot of living art. Bonsai Trees are a Japanese art form using trees grown in containers:
And my favorite and it is a Bonsai tree that is 1200 years old:
The Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt is a really cool place to spend some time and you will learn about the art of Bonsai Trees from the volunteers that work there.
