The Lyon Street Steps are one of eight different stairways that can be found in San Francisco. The steps are located on Lyon St. right outside the Presidio. They serve a purpose as they facilitate a direct access between Green St (the top). to Vallejo St (in the middle) and to Broadway (at the bottom end). There are some really cool houses on Lyon, so these steps are major throughway for the people that live there. I went on an overcast day but it was still had some amazing views and landscaping:

The Lyon Street Steps are another one of those cool things to do in San Francisco that no many know about. It is usually used by people doing their aerobic workout. If you go enjoy everything but stay out of the way of people's workouts (LOL)
Nice documentation. I have not been here at all.

Wow. This is my kind of tour. I LOVE landscape pictures. What stands out the most to me is the tall tree between the buildings and the actual stairs themselves.
ReplyDelete:) gwingal
Those stairs are imposing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the party at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/02/some-african-ceremonial-masks.html
Great pics! Love that stately home! And those steps are extreme. We live on a steep hill (a corner property) that is popular for runners and joggers - even whole groups of people! We watch from the comfort of our balcony! Lol :D
ReplyDeleteThis looks so stunning. I can imagine it being beautiful whatever the season. I shall put this on my 'to do' list. Thank you. x
