Music Monday: 2nd Monday of Christmas-Some Classics
Music Monday: Here is the some music for the 2nd Monday of Christmas. We are going with some classic singers:
HI FRIEND.... Great tunes as always! Bing, Frank, oh my gosh even Pat Boone? Also, Pat Boone, Burl Ives and the infamous Nat King Cole.. you have not forgotten nary a one my friend.. but I must say if I had to pick from this bunch... oh my gosh, I couldn't because they're all infamous to say the least, but I have to say Nat... the KING Cole is definitely my favorite! Hugs & Merry Christmas!
Classics indeed. My Mom loved Rosemary Clooney and Frank Sinatra both, and I have to say I've never heard either of these songs sung by these singers. But my favorite...sigh...is Nat King Cole's Christmas song. The smell of chestnuts roasting on the carts in midtown Manhattan during my childhood is one I will never forget. I love that song. It was nice stopping by and hearing your selections!
Furtastic collection of classic Christmas tunes! We woke to some snow on the ground Sunday morning and 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'! This is one of the coldest December beginnings I recall in years. BRRR! I think I'm ready for a heat wave, a tropical heat wave. :) It's great having you on the dance floor dear friend. Have a joyful and blessed Christmas season!
Great selections here! A couple of real classics, too (Bing with "White Christmas" and Nat King Cole with "The Christmas Song").
