Last Saturday in Berkeley, there was a little basketball game played as the Cal women played host to the University of Connecticut or UCONN. If you know anything about women's college basketball, then you know that UCONN is the gold standard as they have won 11 National Championships and were ranked No.1 in the country going into the game:
UCONN warning up |
UCONN's Katie Lou Samuelson putting up a shot |
Cal's Asha Thomas with the ball |
Cal's Kristine Anigwe putting up a shot |
UCONN's Christyn Williams driving |
Cal's McKenzie Forbes with the ball |
Cal's C.J. West battling UCONN's Katie Lou Samuelson for the ball |
Haas Pavilion packed. A women's record of 10,800 showed up to watch |
Cool pictures...
