Recently, I attended the Big Book Sale at Fort Mason and all of the proceeds went to help the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. The Big Book Sale is super huge, it is held at the Fort Mason Pavilion and there are books as far as the eye can see:
I didn't buy much but I did find this gem:
Love these types of books |
Thanks for sharing the great post. This brings back so many memories when I was little attending book fairs. You can find some great books at one of these. Hope you have a wonderful upcoming weekend.

OH my! That is a lot of books; I could have a field day browsing there.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of books! I always pick up books at library book sales. I get such good deals!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE a great book sale - thank you for bringing us along! It reminds me of the sale our local library hold every year in early December. I do a lot of gift shopping that day!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this? Nothing beats a good book sale for a great cause! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a book lover’s heaven! There was a time when I would have spent hours scouring through the piles of books and brought home probably boxes full. But these days it seems I don’t have the time for reading or scouring through books. Book sales are great ways to raise funds though. I may have to pitch that idea to my ladies’ group for a community service project! Thanks for sharing and joining the link party.
