The New Hayward Library

Almost four years ago to the day, I wrote a post on the groundbreaking of the new Hayward Library which was across the street from the old one. Well, it took a while and it was almost a year late but my city of Hayward, Ca has their new 21st century main library:

I am happy that the library is finally done and it looks so nice. Hopefully, it last for a long time.

  2. That is a nice looking library, did they ask about you taking photos? Great stairway shot btw. Did you enjoy the WS? I thought it was great especially since I didn't have to watch the Dodgers lose again. Would have lost money on the Nats since I was convinced they's sweep the Rastros. Sorry I haven't been by more, kind of in the weeds. Life weeds.

  7. I rarely like contemporary architecture, but that is a very good-looking building! A nice addition to the community.

  8. There is nothing as fun as a book store or a library. Reading is such a wonderful thing to do.

  9. Very cool library, Patrick! But I am so partial to old, dusty, musty libraries! The smell of old books just gets me right in the soul! Although a brand new state of the art library is super cool , too. Thanks for sharing and linking up.
