Music Monday: Driving with the 80's
Music Monday: Drove from the Bay Area to Las Vegas and back. It is about an eight-hour drive and I kept it on the XM station 80's on 8 and here are some of the tunes I heard:
So how was your Thanksgiving? Great I hope for you & your whole family! Oh my goodness, this collection of tunes are awesome, especially that last one! The look on their faces and their eyes just gave me a chill to say the least just as Whitney's voice did & always will!
That's a good drive but you had some good music to listen to keep you alert. We frequently have Sirius XM tuned to 80s on 8. I hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving celebrating the bounty and blessings of life. You presented some selections that I have never heard or haven't heard in forever. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with the gang this week. By the way, if you'd like to be co-host in 2022, look here to see what months are still open, and let one of us know. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!
Wow! So many flashbacks! This was music I listened to in my teens, and although I wouldn't say "those were the days", at least when I think of it now, everything was so simple back then. Thanks for sharing! And in case you didn't sign up for comment replies, I'm sorry about the delay to publish and reply to your comment on my blog - it ended up as spam for some reason and I wasn't notified of that. Now I'll remember to check the spam folder now and then. Have a great week!
Although I am more of a First Wave listener than a 80's on 8, I do love the 80's and enjoyed your playlist. The best one of all? Whitney Houston. A beautiful video and a beautiful voice stilled way too soon.
