Welcome to Pebble Beach

It is one of America's premier's golf course's- Pebble Beach. It is usually ranked the Number 1 Public Course in America.  Pebble Beach opened in 1919. It has hosted the AT&T National Pro-Am since 1947 (which started as The Bing Crosby National Pro-Am Tournament or the Crosby Clam-Bake) and has hosted the Men's U.S. Open six times with a seventh scheduled for 2027 and will host the Women's U.S. Open for the first time next year. The place oozes of history:

Pebble Beach has its own visitor center and it being Men's U.S. Open week (even though it is being played near Boston this year), Pebble Beach had some stuff going on in honor:

The Women's U.S. Open Trophy

There is a huge video screen when you walk in that plays highlights of various U.S. Open's held at Pebble Beach

And the grounds are cool to walk around with the Wall of Champions:

And golf history and art all around:

And Jack Nicklaus loves Pebble Beach:

Had a yummy lunch at a place called The Bench which is inside the lodge at Pebble:

Balloon Beach- So good

Did I mention that that The Bench overlooks the famed 18th green at Pebble:

Going to Pebble Beach knocked off a bucket item off my list. Even though I didn't play any golf there, it was just enough to walk around and see it. It was so cool.
