I am away this week. Out getting new adventures but I re-visited the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento after a decade or so:
I always like visiting the California State Railroad Museum because if it wasn't for the railroad then (I believe) California wouldn't have grown as it did. Plus, I really like trains and the history of trains.
What an amazing place to explore!
ReplyDeleteThey have so much more character than a modern train.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place to visit, I have a thing for anything vintage
ReplyDeleteI miss the fun trains that use to go down the track around where I live. They use to even every now and then run a steam engine by that people could ride from one citty to another. Now, just freight trains. We use to have passenger trains too years ago. What a fun place to visit. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool museum! I'll have to visit sometime. California has quite a history with railroads.

I love train and bus museums, and this looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and beautiful place, this museum. And I suppose everything is functional. I love going with trains and I do usually in holidays. Unfortunately there are not in all the directions of the country. Maybe in a 1000 years...
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend!
