I was able to re-visit, Carmel Mission Basilica or Mission Carmel. Mission Carmel was built in 1797 and is considered one of the most authentically restored Catholic missions:
And what was cool, was I finally was able to get inside the church (for about 7 minutes as they were between weddings):

ReplyDeleteI recently visited Carmel Mission Basilica with my aging parents who are wheelchair bound. After viewing your beautiful photographs, I realized that I was so focused on them, I missed so much of the beauty there! Thank you for sharing!
