Ramses the Great
Went over to the deYoung Museum and saw their great exhibit- Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs. It was an amazing exhibit.
It was amazing to see this. Here is a short video that the deYoung Museum had:
Amazing indeed. This subject is impressive. I like the images with all the artifacts. Interesting video, too. Thank you for this subject! Happy WW and a fine week!
Looks like a great exhibit - and I definitely want to see that Egyptian cat 😸. It all reminds me of the collections the Met in NYC and the Brooklyn Museum.
It's just fascinating. There was a smilliar one that toured here a few years back (well, about a decade ago to be honest - where'd that go?) It was great!
Wow. It's mind-boggling to think how old those pieces of art must be and to imagine the people who made them. Thank you for participating in Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 32. Carol www.scribblingboomer.com
What amazing artifacts!
ReplyDeleteSo interesting! A number of years ago we saw the King Tut exhibit when it was in Philadelphia and it was fascinating.

ReplyDeleteIt makes you wonder how common people lived back then when their rulers lived as they did. Thank you for the tour! It was fascinating to see these.
ReplyDeleteThese were beautiful- the city lights and the Pharaohs. :)
