It is Time for the Flower Piano

It is that time of year as the Botanical Gardens of San Francisco hosts the Flower Piano. They put pianos in different parts of the Gardens and if there is not a scheduled performance going on anyone can jump on a piano and play:

And there was some other music going on:

The Flower Piano weekend has become a civic treasure in the Gardens.

  4. What a fun idea! Love it. Of course all I can play is Chopsticks, so I have tons of admiration for those who can play piano!

  8. How wonderful! The last one is the cutest, but what a beautiful piano. We use to have one when I was little and I dabbled & taught myself a few songs. :)

  10. What a lovely idea. Two beautiful things...flowers and piano music. Always wished I had learned piano as it can be made to sound so beautiful.
